Terms and Conditions

In these conditions Just Paving is referred to as the Seller. Any customer purchasing goods from the Seller is referred to as the Purchaser.

1. BASIS OF THE CONTRACT

1.1 Any order received by the Seller from the Purchaser shall be accepted entirely at the discretion of the Seller, and if so accepted, will only be accepted upon these Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “the Conditions”).

1.2 Each order which is so accepted shall constitute an individual legally binding contract between the Seller and the Purchaser and such contract is hereinafter referred to in these Conditions as “an Order”.

2. PRICE OF GOODS AND PAYMENT

2.1 The price of the goods shall be that contained within the Seller’s current published price list on its website or, if different, the price contained within the quotation at the date of acceptance of the Order.

2.2 All prices contained within the Seller’s quotation are valid for 30 days only from the date shown on the quotation or until earlier accepted by the Purchaser.

2.3 All published prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Delivery charges are shown inclusive of VAT and shall be separately itemised on the Seller’s quotation and at the checkout for transparency. Sample Delivery is provided free of charge as specified on the Seller’s website. 

3. PAYMENT

Payment of the purchase price in full is required at the time of acceptance of the Order by the Seller.

4. DELIVERY

4.1 The goods will be delivered to the delivery address provided by the Purchaser. Delivery charges are calculated based on the total weight of the Order and the geographical Zone of the delivery address as outlined on our Delivery Information page. If delivery is unsuccessful due to either:

(i) An inaccurate or incomplete delivery address;

(ii) No-one being present to accept delivery; or

(iii) Inaccessibility;

then, once another delivery date is arranged, the Purchaser will be charged additional delivery charges for each attempted re-delivery.

4.2 Delivery of the goods is deemed to have taken place when the goods have been offloaded at the nearest accessible point to the delivery address, which in many cases will be the property kerbside. Estimated delivery timeframes (e.g. Next Day, Economy, or 4-Day services) are dependent on the Purchaser’s Zone and selected service level at the time of Order. Delivery any closer to the property will be at the driver’s discretion.

4.3 Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to the Purchaser upon delivery.

4.4 The Seller is not liable for any costs incurred by the Purchaser or loss of earnings. For example, if a delivery is delayed in any way and the Purchaser has to rebook an installer then the Seller is not liable for any extra charges that the installer may charge the Purchaser. The Seller always recommends that the Purchaser does not book an installer until the Purchaser is in receipt of the goods. The Seller is also not liable for any loss of earnings as a result of the Purchaser taking time off work to accept a delivery even if it is late or delayed.

5. QUALITY AND DESCRIPTION OF GOODS

All goods supplied by the Seller are natural materials and are subject to natural and geological variations in marking, colour, texture, cracks and vents, which are beyond the control of the Seller.

6. HANDLING AND STORAGE AFTER DELIVERY

Immediately after delivery and examination by the Purchaser of the goods, the Purchaser shall be responsible for moving the goods to a suitable area of storage. The Seller accepts no liability for goods improperly stored or handled.

7. FITTING

The Seller recommends that the Purchaser employ only the services of a qualified and experienced installer in the storage, handling, laying and possible sealing of all natural stone. The Seller also recommends that the Purchaser use a good quality grout.

8. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

8.1 Where the Purchaser notifies the Seller of any defect, damage or material difference in specification, the Purchaser shall afford the Seller the opportunity to inspect the goods and to replace at the Seller’s cost damaged, defective or non-compliant goods, or to refund the Purchaser the price of the damaged, defective or non-compliant goods (or a proportionate part thereof).

8.2 Where the Purchaser wishes to return the goods to the Seller for reasons other than damage or defect, the Seller shall accept the return of the goods subject to the following:

  • 8.2.1 Notification Period: Notification must be given by the Purchaser to the Seller via phone (01483 322001) or email (info@justpaving.co.uk) within 14 days of the delivery date.
  • 8.2.2 Condition of Goods: The goods must be returned unused, in “as new” condition, fit for resale, and in their original product packaging. The Purchaser must include a note with their full name and order number to ensure the goods can be identified.
  • 8.2.3 Packaging & Collection: The goods must be placed on the pallet exactly as they were delivered and positioned so they are accessible for a driver to load via a pump truck.
  • 8.2.4 Liability: The Purchaser remains responsible for the goods until they are in the Seller’s possession and have been formally accepted.
  • 8.2.5 Costs of Carriage: The Purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the goods. This is charged at the same rate as the original delivery, or £120 (incl. VAT) per pallet, whichever is the lesser amount.
  • 8.2.6 Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 2-3 working days of the Seller being notified of the intent to return, allowing time for collection and inspection.

8.3 The Seller shall accept no liability in respect of any defect or damage arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, defective or poor installation, misuse or alteration or repairs of the goods (unless undertaken by the Seller).

9. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

9.1 Privacy Policy: The seller is committed to protecting the Purchaser’s privacy. All personal data collected (including name, email address, and phone number) is processed in accordance with the Seller’s Privacy Policy, which can be found on the Seller’s website.

9.2 Use of Data for Contract Fulfilment: By placing an Order, the Purchaser acknowledges that the Seller will collect and process personal data (such as delivery address and contact details) specifically for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, arranging delivery, and managing the Purchaser’s account.

9.3 Third Parties: As outlined in the Privacy Policy, the Seller may share limited data with third-party partners (such as delivery drivers and PPC/advertising partners) to ensure the successful delivery of goods and to improve the website experience.

9.4 Marketing: The Seller will only send marketing communications or special offers to the Purchaser if the Purchaser has explicitly consented to receive them. The Purchaser has the right to opt-out of marketing at any time by contacting us as info@justpaving.co.uk.
